anima crossmission project ( shinobis in japan)

here to share my past escapades again...
wasn't able to visit my blog, cause i was out for a trip!
anyways
last december 24-26
fuji tv and toei animation joint forces and launched a search "ala big brother na mix ng amazing race na parang outreach program..."
hahah basta aun... can't explain eh...
held in venus fort near odaiba, japan.
hehe luckily I've known a very good sempai, sir. Kai and encouraged me to join the event.
he supported me all the way to japan... i thought i would be the one to settle everything, like the plane ticket, accommodation, and stuff.
i was even shocked when he told me that I'll be spending 50,000 for a 3 days, 2 nights package w/ hotel accommodation na (isn't that too cheap for a trip to japan?) but i was surprise when i knew at the last moment that everything was for free... he even told me to bring my friends with me. cool... at first i decided not to go cause my friends tourist visa was denied but sir. kai managed to fix everything.
december 23, 2006, haha i was having a high fever but still willing to go... we arrived at the airport at exactly 8pm... and our flight was scheduled @ 8:20 pm... we were very late for the flight... (muntikan na kami maiwanan ng eroplano!!!) but again sir. Kai saved us.
aun i didn't noticed we were in japan na... hindi nga ako naexcite masyado...
i was drooling kasi... sobra... 38.4 ang fever ko nun... hilo hilo sobra...
when we arrived at sir. kai's pad in nara... grabeh parang temple ewan!!!... diretso diretso sa roomies, unpack unti unti... chika unti at yun bagsak tulog!!!
the next day... the day of the dreaded anima crossmission project!!! kahit medyo may fever pa, cge go ako sa event... i left yuki and lorris sa pad cause sobrang tulog mantika pa sila... pero they followed din naman sa event to watch...
the event was held in venus fort... walking distance from odaiba..
sa event mismo
parang anime festives and all
syempre mas maganda un dun kesa sa mga naatendan kong conventions dito
for real ang cosplayers, hindi trying hard (OOOOOOOOOPPPPS!!!)
i was surprised na may mga filipinos din pala sa event...
and it turned out like a united nation festival( hahah!)

may chinese

malaysians and others
syempre picture picture!!!

on the first day... the rules and regulation for the event was discussed..
grabeh soooo cool ng contest na to
the theme was "living at all cost"
haahaa
this was my favorite part
when Mr. Tekami Orihara, called the 20 contestants in the stage and asked them a very significant question which is the core of the search
" you will be given a chance to choose only 2 things inside venus fort... 2 things that will be with you for the 36 next hrs of roaming in japan without money. this two things is up to you to suit all your needs... only you, and this two things will be required for the crossmission project... this will help you for your final entry... so u have 1 minute to decide... the time starts now..."
grabeh.... ang dami kong naisip dalhin noong mga oras na un.... cellphone... pagkain... basta dami dami nun tapos dapat connected sa theme para mapresent mo sya
aun until natapos na ang 1 minute
guess wat napili ko?
digital camera ni sir. kai at yung bike na nasa tabi ng malaking speaker
hehe di ko din alam sa dami ng bagay meron sa loob ng event un ung napili ko...
pero it turned out worth it naman un choice ko
having photos of japan's finest while riding a bike... cool
aun for 36 hrs sya...so hindi ko alam kung saan nagala ang aking mga amigas sa loob ng 36 hrs... para ngang big brother... pero walang house. roomies lang...
met new friends
most memorable was with kenta sato
he's my room mate...
haha OO magkasama kami sa room... xe bunutan ng number... malas mo nalang kung maniac ka room mate mo. lucky for me...
kenta is a college student in the states
a band member and on a vacation sa motherland nya
ang cute nya sobra!!! jackpot nga ako eh... hehehhe
christmas day.... i was still working for my entry...
pero sobrang sick ako... feeling bed ridden...
ang lamig kasi...
hehe worried ang room mate syempre...
aun..

costrippers in the streets
naabutan ko din ang paradise kiss collection exhibit sa Venus fort
hehe in result
aun nanalo lang naman ng third place
i used pictures to visualize how lovely a place may be without the big money
ahihihi
the hatest part was when:
may disaster na nangyari nun 2nd day before kami pumunta sa event proper
nahulog phone ko at digi cam ko sa balde
hahaha
nakalagay kasi sa pocket ng pants ko...
aun pagbihis ko
aun shonga shonga ako

buti nalang hindi sa toilet bowl
kundi wapak na!!!

the sermon na matatamo ko sa achi ko paguwi, mawawala ang cam whoring sessions and my own personal photos to be taken sana.... huhuhuhu
good thing naayos na naman ang phone ko... at nandun pa ang ilan sa mga pictures during the first day and the early morning of the second day...

it was a dream come true naman in a way
pero eksakto, after ng event... aun fly back na...
pero thanks to sir. Kai talga
i was able to revive myself again
na even with failures, i still have the potentials to be the best i can be
part tlaga ng life yun, pero you have to continue and prove everything...

aun nagenjoy libutin ang shibuya
buti pa nga sila eh... nakapagpicture picture at gamit pa ang phone ko ha!
pero may lamang ako
hindi nila naexperience mapuntahan un mga napuntahan ko...
bwahahahaha

its a vacation na talaga..
that trip was a mission for me...
pero still i was able to enjoy the event narin...
